Campion School Phase 2, Leamington Spa

Following on from our previous school work, we are to carry out the design and installation of the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Services on this project, comprising of a new Sixth Form block, a renewal of the Sports Centre, and modifications to 2 existing teaching areas.

Campion School was formed in 1977, and is a mixed 11 to 18 secondary school. It mainly serves South Leamington, whilst also taking pupils from other areas of Leamington and Warwick.

The new Sports Centre building will be a reimagining of the existing area, built to modern construction values. Improved lighting, heating and ventilation will create a new, more comfortable environment.

The New Sixth Form will be a two storey complex. It will comprise of staff workrooms, teaching, study and social spaces.

All spaces utilise LED lighting, and will be heated by LPHW generated by an air source heat pump, via concealed systems located in the voids.

The building will be generally ventilated by hybrid mechanical ventilation fan units, providing a mixture of natural and mechanical ventilation and dedicated mechanical ventilation to toilet areas.

Staff and teaching spaces will be fitted with data and small power outlets as required, with domestic water services to all sanitary and catering appliances.

The project is due to be completed in Summer 2022.
